Celebrity Haircut: From Long To Short Celebrity Haircut

The decision to go from long celebrity haircut to short celebrity haircut is sometimes done with a lot of thought and sometimes done on a whim. Whatever the reason, it is important to prepare for some transitioning, and to make the correct decisions with regards to your new celebrity hairstyle. Often a drastically short celebrity haircut will be too short, and then you will have to wait for your hair to grow out again. To avoid this problem there are a few simple points to consider before going for the cut.

One option is to go to a medium length haircut before deciding to go any shorter. This allows you the chance to get used to shorter and shorter hairstyles, without cutting too short the first time. Often women or men find out that medium length is just what they really wanted - long enough to pull back yet short enough to wear down and in a casual style if they want. For women that are used to the multitude of different looks and styles that can be accomplished with long or medium hair, they may find the shorter style to be a bit restrictive, whereas the medium length still gives lots of options.

If your best feature is your long hairstyles and that is what you feel good about and have other people recognize you by, is cutting your hair really right for you? The shorter hairstyle will be very drastic, and it may attract lots of positive or negative attention. Gradually going shorter will eliminate a lot of the stress of a cut, and allow people to get used to your new style. In addition, wearing your hair up or back for a while before the cut will help you decide if short is the look you are going for, as well as help your coworkers, family and friends adjust.

Short haircut doesn’t have to mean just one style. By learning how to work with short hairstyles you can have several different styles from casual to elegant. Try using some of the new hair fibers, muds, crèmes and other styling products to create new looks with your style. If you are unsure of how to start, try talking to your stylist and having him or her show you a few quick styles.

Your facial shape will also have a big impact on what length of hair looks best. For long faces, short hair can actually square out the face and lessen the appearance of length. Squarer shaped faces are softened and rounded with layering at the sides, but will appear more squarely shaped with the very short cuts. Bobs and blunt cuts look great on oval shaped faces, and depending on the length of the cut, different features can be accentuated. For example, if you wish to draw attention away from your cheeks try keeping the hair longer at the sides of the head, and more textured through the bang area. A professional stylist will be able to advise you on a cut that will suit your features.

Getting a short haircut can help you get in style, change your traditional look, or even just do something new. To avoid any regrets, try going shorter in stages, rather than all at once. If you are not sure what you will look like with a shorter style, you can try on wigs that will help you “see” yourself with short hair, or else keep your hair pinned up or pulled back to get used to the idea. If you are getting a short cut just because it looks cute on a friend or a movie star, you may want to reconsider. If you are cutting your hair for you, and you feel that it will suit your face and busy lifestyle, then short is definitely an option.

10 Reasons Why You Must Make A New Celebrity Haircut

Your hair is no longer interesting.
Every hairstyle needs a little bit of color to make it truly noticeable or breathtaking. No matter whether your taste is subtle or dramatic, you can add interest and volume to your tresses with a color process. Just pick any of the recent celebrity haircut, highlights, lowlights, all over color, gray coverage, you name it, it’s all good for your look.

Your hairstyle no longer flatters your face or body.
If your present hairstyle no longer draws attention to your best features its a sure sign its time for a new hairstyle. A perfect hairstyle plays a great role in making you look as dazzling as ever. A hairstyle that fits your color, face, personality, hair texture and lifestyle can make you look best in any dress, and during any part of the day. A good starting point should be from latest celebrity haircut pictures.

Your hair and skin tone no longer gel.
While choosing your hair color, first and foremost, take into account your natural hair, eye and skin tone in unison. Basically, older women should choose lighter hair colors; however this will not work well for the woman having a pale complexion. If you are not sure what is the perfect match, you can always refer to Pamela Anderson's haircut and color. :)

Thinning Hairstyle.
You have "see thru" hair. This problem is more common in women of advancing ages but also appears occasionally in younger women. Women with thinning hair should try a short hairstyle, which is about chin length, or a little longer. Short hairstyles are sometimes considered better for women, as they divert attention from the hair to the face, like hairstyles with hair bangs covering the face or light curls at the end or behind the ears. With these hairstyles, your hair is kept together to look thicker and fuller.

Bangs or Fringe.
You pull your hair up in a "do". If you always "pin up" your hair or put it in a ponytail through a cap it probably is time for a new style. Try bangs or fringe as it's called today. They are the one of hottest hairstyle trends this season and are especially great for hiding a high forehead or a wide face.

Does your hair fit your life style?
Most of us are busy and on the go during the week so you want a hairstyle that is easy to wear and simple to do. If you have a style that requires a lot of fuss in front of a mirror every morning then you probably will forgo the effort it deserves to make you sparkle.

Your charm doesn't cast its spell on your near and dear ones anymore. The crowning part of your beauty and personality is your hair. Your hair is like you, unique and inimitable. So, there can’t be any laid-down formula for the most perfect hairstyle for anybody. Choices for you are many. You may want to get those subtle highlights that add a sun-kissed sparkle to your tresses. Having black hair is a boon, but it can make you look mature. So, you may consider adding a shade of red or brown to provide contrast, and also to make you look young.

You wear more makeup to highlight your hair color. It's probably time to change the hairstyle and color. A proper hair color should highlight your skin tone bring it alive and glowing. On the other hand, if you have made the wrong choice you will probably look tired and washed out.

Your hair stylist suggest a different cut. Choose a stylist who treats you and your hair with respect and is ready to give you the right advice at all times. Maintain a good relationship with the stylist and follow the advice given for your hair and pretty soon your hair will be the envy of others.

Lastly, of course if your hairstyle and wardrobe don't match, then you should start consider to make a new haircut, simply by refer to some of the latest celebrity haircuts. Your hairstyle should not only compliment your face but your body and clothing as well.

Celebrity Haircut: Liv Tyler

The simple hairstyle of bone straight hair lends a new image with Liv’s brown hair sectioned in a side part and brought over to hang along her face. The other side meets the rest of the hair into the lower ponytail. Diverse colors of caramel fan together throughout her hair in obvious tri-tones. Smoothing serum will help smooth and straighten the cuticles after you blow dry your hair.

Liv Tyler’s gorgeous blue eyes are the focal point of the whole picture. Fair skinned, she has light foundation, eyeliner applied on the top and bottom of her eyes, a touch of light shadow, mascara, light blush and a neutral pinkish lip tint.

The dressy blue satin dress is pulled up to rest upon one shoulder and does stunning things to Liv’s eyes, because it is that much closer to her face. In fact, the blue dress comes close to matching her eyes. Smart trick! Tip: Can you believe, if Liv had on a green dress with a touch of green shadow, it would bring out her eyes that much more and let’s put her hair into a classy upswing while we are designing!

Celebrity Hairstyle: How to Get Beach Wave Celebrity Hairstyles

Nothing says summer like a hairstyle with beach inspired waves. If you can't make it to the beach but want to look like you just came in from the surf try faking it with an at home version. This hairstyle will work best on long hair that is naturally straight or with slight wave to it.

Begin this hairstyle on hair that is only slightly damp as wet hair will take too long to dry. Starting at the bottom portion of your hair grab a small section, approximately one inch by one inch and apply a volumizing spray.

Now wrap the section around your finger and begin to twist. Keep twisting the hair section until it is twisted all the way up to the roots of your hair.

Coil the section into a pin curl (a large circle) and place a small amount of tissue paper on top of the coil; this will prevent a dent from forming when you secure the coil to your head with a large bobby pin.

Continue to repeat this procedure until all of your hair is done. If you have fine hair you should end up with approximately ten sections while thicker hair may have upwards of twenty.

Let your hair completely dry. Air drying is best but if you're in a hurry you can speed up the process by giving the coils quick blasts of a blow dryer. Just don't overdo it with the drier as it may cause your hair to become flyaway or give it frizz.

You can now remove the pins and very gently unroll the coils. Try to avoid handling them as much as possible to keep the waves intact. If you wish you can mist your hair with a light shine enhancing product for a healthy sheen. It's best to skip the hair spray though, as this hairstyle is meant to look natural and free—not stiff. This hairstyle is perfect for giving fine, limp hair body without overloading it with hair products.
